Minutes of the meeting held on 5th January 2026.

2.DECLARATIONS OF MEMBERS' INTERESTS. None
3.PUBLIC FORUM: No members of the public were present. Cllr Spence was thanked for the work he had done on the field
4. Co-Option of Councillor: Cllr Spence stated that the Parish Council will advertise the vacancy again in the new year. Agenda
5. NOTES OF THE MEETING HELD ON 1st December were signed as a true record.
6.REPORTS ON MATTERS FROM PREVIOUS MEETINGS:
Cllr Spence stated the clerk had contacted the solicitors regarding the registering of the land previously rented by Mr Tindale and two people were required for ID purposes to vist the solicitor Cllr Spence and Cllr Kent agreed to do this. Also proof was required that the council rented the land to Mr Tindale Cllr Spence and the clerk provided evidence of this which would be taken to the solkicitor.
7. PLANNING: WL/2025/012030/1 concerns to be put forward over width of the road, lack of parking and whether CIL would apply.
WL/2025/01218 the Parish Council supports this appliaction as long as there is no light pollution to neighbouring properties, a resident has already voiced concerns.
The above points will be forwarded to planning.
8. Finance: Agreed to approve payment for clerk salary £216.93 HMRC £31.80 Parish Online £192.00. The precept final claim of £18K was agreed and signed off. It was agreed to cancel the DD for Multidata.at the last meeting this has been actioned.
9. Cllr Spence had visited the mobile post office and had contacted the person concerned. Agenda
10. The grass cutting schedule was discussed and agreed. Clerk to re mention to Krinkels UK that no photo evidence of cuts had been received although this was requested.
11 Correspondence: Emails are forwarded as received no new correspondencxe.
12. Coronation Wood: Cllr Ridley provided an amount of budget of 1K for estimate of work required from March to October 2026 this was agreed. Stump grinder estimate will be received next month.
13. AOB; The water leak by the pond had been reported by Cllr Kent who was still awaiting an urgent call back. It was due to be looked at on the 8th January.
