Minutes of the meeting held on Tuesday 4 December 2018

117. CHAIRMAN'S REMARKS.

Cllr Spence laid the wreath on Remembrance Sunday.

The paths around the church have been cleared and are now weed free.

A quote for £3500 for removing the tree overhanging the church has been received. Continental Landscapes is to be asked if they do tree work.

Cllr Spence is to buy and put up the Christmas tree.

120. NOTES OF THE MEETING HELD ON 6 NOVEMBER 2018 TO BE APPROVED AS MINUTES.

Cllr Durning proposed and Cllr Cody seconded that the notes of the meeting held 6 November 2018 be approved as minutes.

122. PLANNING.

No new planning applications.

West Lindsey District Council has confirmed that the Parish Council will receive funds from the Community Infrastructure Levy for qualifying developments.

Balance both accounts as of end of September 2018 £16,604.42

(Includes £3450 reserved for land at bottom of Trent Port Road.)

125. HARPHAM ROAD.

This is still in the hands of WL legal advisors

 

126. 40 MPH BUFFER ZONE & 30 MPH SIGNS.

Cllr Cody is to put up the passive 30 MPH signs.

 

127. BUS SHELTER AND SEAT.

The application forms for permission to erect bus shelter have been received and will be completed by Cllr Spence.

Kexby PC used Hutchinson builders to install their bus shelter.

 

128. VILLAGE SIGNS.

No response.

 

129. OLD TELEPHONE BOX.

Shelves are to be installed.

 

130. WAR MEMORIAL

The memorial needs to be cleaned and the names being made clearer. Advice is to be sought from memorial stonemasons.

The pre-grant form will need to be completed.
