Minutes of the meeting held on 2nd December 2024

2.DECLARATIONS OF MEMBERS' INTERESTS.

4.NOTES OF THE MEETING HELD ON  4th November  to be approved as a true record. Cllr N Cody proposed Cllr L Musgrove seconded.

5. REPORTS ON MATTERS FROM PREVIOUS MEETINGS
Agreed to purchase microsoft 365 for Parish Council laptop. Online banking to be progressed. There was a good attendance at the memorial service possibly due to it being advertised on FB. Road signage for Sarah's Mews has been reported.

6 PROPOSED SOLAR PARKS. WLDC encourages residents to  to attend meetings, 7000 acres have a meeting on the 11th December which Panorama will be attending as they filming for a program to be broadcast on 10th February 2025 about the effect of solar farms.Cllr Pilgrim stated WLDC had concerns regarding battery storage safety. Three councillor's will be attending the meeting.

7. PLANNING. None

8. Finance cheques were signed for £125.00 for a village Christmas tree clerks salary £214.49 HMRC £29.60. Problems yet again with same cheque being rejected this was once again re-issued.

9. CEMETRY. Cllr Cody brought along Walkeringham PC regulations Councillor's to look at this and a policy will be developed for Marton & Gate Burton and uploaded onto the website.

10.CORRESPONDENCE. Cllr Cody to visit cemetry to look at headstone memorials and sizes before the request for the late Norma Menzies memorial can be approved.
     
11. CORONATION WOOD. Tidying up taking place, bushes have been donated to create a hedge.

AOB. A resident had requested a paved area be created on the grass verge on the west side of Trent View for the safety of school childern clerk to contact LCC.
