Minutes of the meeting held on December 1st 2025.

2.DECLARATIONS OF MEMBERS' INTERESTS. None
3.PUBLIC FORUM: No members of the public were present.
4. Co-Option of Councillor: Cllr Spence stated that the Parish Council will advertise the vacancy again in the new year. Agenda
5. NOTES OF THE MEETING HELD ON 3rd November were signed as a true record. Proposed Cllr L Musgrave seconded Cllr N Cody.
6.REPORTS ON MATTERS FROM PREVIOUS MEETINGS:
Cllr Spence stated he had visited Burton & Dyson to begin the process to register the land previously rented to Mr Tindale in the name of the Parish Council, he was still awaiting a call back from the solicitors so will visit again next week to move this forward. Cllr Spence had visited the land it was difficult to find a way in, it was agreed the hedge is to be trimmed back to the fence height, the undergrowth needs to be cut back and disposed of and a gate erected it was not known if only new gate posts would be required or if the gate itself would also need replacing. Cllr Spence will obtain quotes for the work.
The Christmas tree had been purchased and the tree lights are working, the tree will be put up next week. The clerk stated she had tried to contact Stage Coach regarding the bus shelter live feed, after two phone calls not answered after thirty minutes an email had been sent to which there had been no response. The speed sign not working had been reported through 'Fix my street' Cllr Pilgrim suggested reporting through Lincolnshire Road Safety as it was still not working.
7. PLANNING: None
8. Finance: Agreed to approve payment for Krinkels UK £1105.44, clerk salary £199.13 HMRC £49.00 Mrs S Porter £117.93 Cllr Spence £138.00. The clerk stated the precept estimate had been received by WLDC and the final amount had to be sent by 21st January 2026. It was agreed to cancel the DD for Multidata.
9. Cllr Spence will visit the mobile post office and request that it visit Marton, the village hall was agreed the best place for the van to park Cllr Musgrave will agree this with the village hall.
10. No update on highways issues.
11 Correspondence: Avian flu had been confirmed in Gainsborough and the clerk provided a poster the Parish Council was requested to place on the notice boards, Cllr Spence agreed he would do this. An update on the LGR had been received Cllr Spence read out the main proposal the clerk will forward the email which has a link to the detail.
12. Coronation Wood: Cllr Ridley provided an amount of budget of 1K for estimate of work required from March to October 2026 this was agreed.
13. AOB; Cllr Spence circulated the current grass cutting schedule and asked that everyone look at it and it would be discussed at the next meeting. Agenda
