Minutes of the meeting held on 6 March 2023.

1.APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE.

2.DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST.

None    

3. PUBLIC FORUM.

None.

4. NOTES OF THE MEETING HELD ON 6 February 2023 to be approved as minutes.

Cllr Durning proposed and Cllr  Musgrave seconded that the notes be approved as a true record of the meeting.

5.ELECTION – 4 May 2023.

The nomination packs were handed out.

6. PROPOSED SOLAR PARKS.

The Cottam Solar Project and the Gate Burton Energy  Park applications have  now been submitted to the Planning Inspectorate. This Council  is to register as an Interested Party.

7.PLANNING.

Application No. 146247 Land north of Littleborough Lane; application to erect 9 dwellings including change of use of land.

No objections.

8.FINANCE

9. WOODLAND

The name for the woodland will be discussed at the next meeting.

10. CORRESPONDENCE.    

Update on the flooding on Trent Port Road. It is hoped that work carried out by Lincolnshire County Council will have resolved the problem.

11. MEMBERS' REPORTS AND ITEMS FOR NEXT AGENDA

Cllr Spence is to put up the new gate post.

The metal box containing historical documents of the Parish Council is rusting through.  All agreed a replacement should be purchased.

Cllr Cody proposed and Cllr Durning seconded that a new laptop be purchased as the current one no longer holds a charge.

Burton and Dyson solicitors are to be asked how the registration of the cemetery with the Land Registry is progressing

12. DATE AND TIME OF THE NEXT MEETING.

The next  monthly meeting will be held on 3 April 2023.

The Annual Parish Meeting will be on Monday 1 May at 7.00pm
The Annual Meeting of the Parish Council will be held on Monday 15 May at 7.00pm.
