LCC – County Planning Minerals & Waste Consultation

Letter and petition from local residents concerning speeding vehicles on High Street and requesting a zebra crossing. This was discussed. Cllr Butroid advised that it would be unlikely that a zebra crossing would be created on High Street as it is an A class road. He will ask if the speed camera van can be positioned in the lay by near the shop in the mornings. Enquiries will be made about having more passive speed reminder signs at that end of High Street and the matter will be discussed further at the next meeting.

157. HARPHAM ROAD.

This has still not been resolved. Cllr Spence will talk to the MP.

158 . 40 MPH BUFFER ZONE & 30 MPH SIGNS.

Cllr Butroid will talk to Highways again about this. He will also ask about the Gate Burton village sign that was destroyed in a car accident a long time ago.
