Minutes of the meeting held on Tuesday 4 June 2019

17. CHAIRMAN'S REMARKS AND REPORTS.
Three people have expressed an interest in being co-opted on to the Council; Lucinda Taylor and Rebecca Wells, who were present, and Dennis Browne who was unable to attend the meeting but had written to Cllr Spence.
Anglian Water have been to inspect the fire hydrant on the High Street but nothing has been done.
18. APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE.

19. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST.
None.
20. NOTES OF THE MEETING HELD ON 14 MAY 2019 TO BE APPROVED AS MINUTES.
Cllr Patrick proposed and Cllr Allen seconded that the notes of the meetings held 14 May 2019 be approved as minutes.
21. COUNCIL PROCEDURES.
a) Co-option of new member
It was decided to leave this until the end of the meeting.
b) Explanation of meetings.
Up to date information was given about the Annual Parish Council Meeting and the Annual Parish Meeting.
22. PLANNING.
None
23. FINANCE.
Balance both accounts as of end of May 2019 £21,793.81
(Includes £3450 reserved for land at bottom of Trent Port Road and £1,735.65 CIL)

24. CORRESPONDENCE
Crime Report for Gainsborough Rural South.
Resilient Communities Conference.
25. HARPHAM ROAD.
The Court has ruled that the land behind Harpham Road must be transferred to the Parish Council together with the sum of £2,000.
The trees will be discussed later and the residents and Sanctuary Housing will be consulted. The land will be for recreational use.
26 . 40 MPH BUFFER ZONE & OTHER SPEED REDUCTION METHODS.
Cllr Spence will complete the application form.
27. BUS SHELTER.
Cllrs Spence and Patrick are arranging to meet with two officers of LCC. Cllr Spence will also discuss the provision of a shelter on High Street.
28. VILLAGE SIGNS.
Further discussion took place.
29. OLD TELEPHONE BOX.
Nothing further to report at the moment.
30. TRENTSIDE MEMORIES BOOKS.
The books could be advertised in the Phone box, the Village Hall and the Noticeboards for £10 each.
31. CEMETERY PATH.
Cllr Worrell will ask about the path at St Helen's church at Gate Burton. The path at St Margaret's church in Marton is not in good condition.
Cllr Cody proposed and Cllr Durning seconded that the path in the cemetery be extended right to the end. LCC Highways repaired the path last time so Cllr Spence will also discuss this at the site meeting about the bus shelter.
32. PLAYPARK.
This will be discussed at the next meeting.
33. REPORTS/ITEMS FOR NEXT AGENDA.
The road surface on Willingham Lane is domed, causing the underside of smaller vehicles to catch. Hedges are also encroaching onto the road.
CO-OPTION OF NEW MEMBER.
Lucinda and Rebecca left the meeting at 8.15, followed by Sue at 8.20.
Voting then took place and Rebecca Wells was co-opted on to the Council.

The next meeting is to be held on 2 July 2019
